1) I don’t have my basic essentials with me. Not to sound high maintenance, but if I’m going to sleep over at another guy’s place, at a MINIMUM, I need my contact solution, tooth brush, face-wash and lotion. I mean, I can’t go to sleep with a dirty mouth and my contacts still on. The only other option would be to go over to the guy’s place, do our thing, than sneak off in the middle of the night like a high-class escort. But who really wants that, leaving in the middle of the night, feeling used and alone. Is it worth it?
2) Satisfaction is not guaranteed. I think it’s safe to say that first time encounters in bed are not always up to par. You’re basically with a total stranger and the chances that he will actually know how to get you off will be slim to none. Is it rude for me to boss him around and tell him what to do? I know I would be annoyed if he was directing me around in bed like air traffic control. I really want the guy to just STFU and let me do my thing. Then what if he cum’s first? Would you be asking, “Hey, I’m not done yet, can we continue?” By that time, I think he might want you out of his bed. If I’m going to have my one-night stand, I expect to have an orgasm, otherwise I don’t see the point in having one.
3) Awkward morning. Okay, let’s say I did end up staying over at some guy’s place. During the dark and perhaps alcohol fueled hours of the night we engage in passionate sex and cuddle a bit. Now, morning comes, its bright daylight, and we both realize that we have no idea who the hell the other person really is. Awkward! How is this supposed to go? Should I say, “Hey, thanks for the sex, but I gotta go now”? I find the thought of the morning after a one-night stand to be extremely awkward and strange.
Note: I have nothing against people who have one-night stands. I’m all for women’s equality. I f men can do it without attachments or shame, I think women should be able to as well. Girl power!
