When I was a kid, my friend Anna Zhu and I would draw up Barbie’s wearing cute dresses. I was always the better artist while my friend Anna struggled to draw. I told Anna, when I grow up I want to be the next Donna Karen. Well, 20 years later, I saw Anna at our Elementary School reunion and she is now a couture dress designer. I, on the order hand became an Online Media Analyst. She went to FIT for college, while I went to RIT. She told me I was her inspiration for becoming a fashion designer. I wanted to hit myself for not following through on my own dreams to pursue fashion, but was also flattered by her comments.
Now, Anna Zhu just started her own Wedding Dress business after working for famous designers the past couple of years, designing and fitting sized 8 dresses onto sized 2 models. She does custom made dresses if you are looking for your own original wedding gown. She also tailors wedding dresses made by others so that they will fit you to a Tee.
