Asian Women With Bad Teeth

Posted on: September 30, 2009 | By Maiguy

I think you’ve all seen that girl. The girl from across the bar, looking cute with a nice body and pretty face. Everything seems great. You make your way over there to talk to her and BAM! Like a surprise from a Sci-Fi movie she opens her mouth and you are greeted by a messed up rack of pointers and molars. Teeth pointed every which way. I’m not just talking about Japanese girls either. I’ve noticed plenty of other Asian girls with really messed up teeth, and I just don’t understand why. It’s the 21st century, invest in some dental work.

Other than a terrible personality, I’m not sure if there is anything that can take down a women’s appearance more than some really messed up teeth. I mean, a nice smile is one of the first things you notice from across the room. A messed up grill is a pretty big turn off for a lot of guys. I’ve actually met Japanese girls with teeth so bad I wasn’t sure how they were able to properly eat food. Literally, they looked like they had ice picks stuck in their teeth. I’d be scared to make out with them, may never get your tongue back.

Unless a girl is oblivious to her situation or doesn’t mind having a messed up mouth, I think a little dental work can go a long way towards a woman’s confidence. Some girls may complain about the cost of a trip to the orthodontist, but if you tally up the dollar amount spent by women on clothes, cosmetics, jewelry, etc. the number is ridiculous. I’m telling you now, whatever the amount for a set of Invisalign braces, it is worth every penny. It’s a competitive world out there, why wouldn’t you want to put your best face forward. It’s like going to a job interview. No one is going to show up for a job interview with scruffy hair and a dirty suit because they were worried about the cost of a haircut and dry cleaning. Ladies, do yourself a favor and let the world see you at your best.

Shing Ka Does The Body Good

Posted on: September 28, 2009 | By Maigal

SHINGKA

“Oh my god, I am in heaven. Don’t stop now, keep going. Yes, right there. Rub it harder! Oh pain pain! But keep going..oh yes yes yes.. Shing Ka, this is the best massage I’ve ever had.” Even though I have been sexless for the past few months, a three hour “therapeutic” massage session with Shing Ka is all I need to make up for my lonely nights. His massage is better than any orgasm I’ve ever had. This guy knows how to take away all the tension, muscle spasms and knots from my body. As a result of being hunched over a computer all day, going out late and not sleeping well, my whole body becomes very tense and sore. All the muscles on my shoulder and neck hurt when I touch them. I went to two other places to get a massage and they didn’t help at all. These people did not concentrate on the spots where I needed the most attention. I even had pain the next day after getting a massage in Queens. So I finally had no choice but to give Shing Ka a call.

Shing Ka is a Licensed Massage Therapist/Actor. He is very knowledgeable about every muscle in the human body. The only reason I didn’t go to him for a massage in the first place was because he is a man. I didn’t feel comfortable having a man touch my body, but his professionalism led me to feel comfortable enough with him touching me. My massage started off with a 30 minute foot massage (reflexology) that felt so good it made my toes curl. He said that a reflexology session is usually for one hour and is a complete treatment that benefits the entire body. The work started with him evaluating my body with his hands checking for any blockages and tight spots. He does this over sheets and towels. The moment his hands touched my back, I could feel the sensation of his energy or “Qi” over my entire body. I felt my body becoming more relaxed. He then uncovered the sheet to check the texture of my skin. For the next ten or fifteen minutes, he put his palms on my skin in the places where they were “sticking” and needed to be melted away. I could feel the heat of his hands slightly stretching my tight skin till they freed themselves from the muscle. This is called the Myofascial Release technique. Then he concentrated on my main trouble spots, the shoulders, neck, head and then the rest of my body. After I was done, I felt rejuvenated and alive. His apartment is not a five star spa, but it feels cozy and peaceful enough to feel like a real spa. If you are in need of a serious massage, Shing Ka is the guy to call. He said I need to try his FIVE ELEMENT ENERGENIC SHIATSU treatment to balance my insides from all the stress of living in the city that never sleeps. He is a busy guy since he’s also an actor so you’ll have to call him in advance. His normal rate is $100 an hour but for a limited time only (expires on Dec 2009), MyHappyFinds readers can get a 50% off discount from Shing Ka. Please contact him at Shingka@hotmail.com to book your appointment.

How Many Chinatowns Are In New York City?

Posted on: September 28, 2009 | By Maigal

chinatown-new-york-cityWhen I first came to America, there was only one Chinatown in New York City. All the Chinese restaurants, shops, gangs, whores, immigrants and factories were crammed into this tiny area called Chinatown, Manhattan. Now 20 years later, this is no longer the case. Chinatown has expanded to Queens and Brooklyn. Chinatown in Manhattan is getting smaller as surrounding non-Chinese businesses and people encroach into the area with bars and restaurants, as the Chinatown in Queens and Brooklyn is getting bigger. Here are the locations of all of the Chinatown areas in New York City for those who want to check out some Chinese goods or have an Asian fetish.

Chinatown, Manhattan:

Direction: Take the 6, N, R, W train to Canal Street or the B, D train to Grand Street.

This is of course the main Chinatown that everyone should know. This is where most Chinese immigrants resided when they first came to the United States. The main attraction area for Tourists would be Canal and Mott Street. On Canal Street, you will be able to find fake brand name purses (Louie Vuitton, Coach, Chanel, Gucci and etc), watches (Rolex, Movado, Cartier) and jewelry (Tiffany, Cartier). Most of their fake merchandise is hidden in the back room of the store because it’s illegal to sell most of this stuff. If the store owner decides to take you to some back room, don’t be afraid, you’re not gonna get killed. Mott Street is where you’ll find your “I Love New York” souvenirs. You can get four I love New York T-shirts for only $10. In this area you will find authentic Chinese Restaurants and bakeries. How do you know if it’s an authentic Chinese restaurant? If you see roast ducks, chicken and pigs hanging behind the glass windows, it’s as authentic as any fake Louie Vuitton purse.

Queens:

Flushing – Direction 7 train to Flushing Queens

This is one of the biggest and busiest Chinatown I have ever seen. If you stand on Main Street, I swear, it will feel like you are actually in China. Main Street is the busiest street and flooded with Chinese who only speak Mandarin. When I was there this Sunday to have lunch at East buffet, all I see were Chinese peeps. No black or white person in site. Flushing is flooded with Chinese, Shanghainese, and Taiwanese restaurants. If you really want to try authentic Asian food, flushing is the place to visit. There are also Chinese karaoke/bars for entertainment and some cheap massage places where you can relax and have beautiful young Chinese women massaging you. I had a hair wash plus full body massage for only $25. I wouldn’t say I had a great massage experience because I think my masseuse was trying to kill me at one point. She was so rough with her massages. It was painful instead of relaxing. Overall, what do you expect for $25 right? I can see why some guys would go there though. All the women that work there had on some skimpy outfits and I also heard you can get happy endings here.

Elmhurst – Direction: take G R V train to Elmhurst Ave

Elmhurst is another Chinatown in Queens but a bit smaller than Flushing. You will find a bunch of Chinese groceries where you can buy fresh, cheap produce and some good Chinese restaurants. Their famous restaurant in Elmhurst is East Manor. Most Chinese have their wedding banquets there.

Brooklyn

8th ave – Direction: N train to 8 Avenue

This is probably the second oldest Chinatown in New York City. I remember in Grade school, some of my friends that used to live in Chinatown, Manhattan moved to 8th ave in Brooklyn. The rents were much cheaper and you could get a lot more space. Not only that, there are a bunch of Chinese stores, karaoke bar/lounges and restaurants. When you live in 8th Ave, you basically don’t need to come to Chinatown in Manhattan. You can find almost everything there, if not more. Most Chinese people that live at 8th Avenue are Cantonese and Fujianese.

Here are three more Chinatowns in Brooklyn if you want to explore. You will find a bunch of Chinese restaurants and Asian markets.

Bayparkway – Direction N train to Bayparkway

Avenue U – Direction: Q train to Avenue U

Bensonhurst/86st – Direction – D/M to 18th avenue

When Marriage Goes Wrong

Posted on: September 23, 2009 | By Maigal

jonkateJon and Kate Plus 8 was one of my favorite family TV shows from TLC. Their kids were so cute and would say the darnest things. If you followed the show, you would know that Kate was a total control freak. She had rules for everything and her man knew that it was her way or the highway. I guess with 8 kids you need to have a lot of rules and be in control. You could also tell that she was controlling of her husband too. She talked down to him all the time.  He finally decided to man up to her and leave her ass.

Now, Kate is raising 8 kids on her own, how sad is that? It’s an unfortunate situation for her, but she shouldn’t have talked to her husband like that in the first place. A man needs dignity and pride. No man wants to feel belittled by his girlfriend or wife. So ladies, if your boyfriend or husband is always passive when you fight, you better watch out. One day he may leave your ass without any hesitation. Even if you are totally in control of the relationship make him feel like he has a handle on the relationship.  Here are 3 videos of Jon Gosselin interviews with Primetime explaining his marriage issues.
