New Year’s Resolutions Of 2010
Posted on: January 3, 2010 | By Maigal

Here is a recent facebook status update from a friend, “Happy New Year to all. Life is short so live life and cleanse all the crap out of your life and be reborn fresh for 2010!”. I completely agree with this quote. At the beginning of each year I analyze my own life and do a self-assessment on whether or not Maigal is truly happy. For this year the answer is “NO”. To find Maigal’s happiness again in 2010, I decided to make a few New Year resolutions to follow up on. Whether I go through with them or not, that’s a different story. I’ll try to keep them up for at least a month.
My first New Year’s resolution is getting rid of people who don’t add any value to my life. Ex: old boyfriends or lovers or anyone else who creates negativity in my world. If you see me deleting you out of my facebook account, you know what that means. If you are my lover who doesn’t give good loving, you are OUT. If you are a boyfriend whom I don’t see a future with, you are OUT. If you are a friend who adds no support or entertainment, you are OUT.
Second, living a healthy lifestyle. This means, I will be forcing myself to hit the gym at least 2 times a week and cutting down on fatty food. The biggest problem I have with getting into shape is just finding a routine to drag my lazy ass into the gym. Even though I have a gym in my building I always find an excuse not to go. A friend told me, exercise should not be just about losing weight, it should be part of your lifestyle.
Third, finding a new career path that I am passionate about. I thought about being a blogger but it’s tougher than I expected so if you all still want to keep MyHappyFinds alive, click on those ads and spread the word to bring mega traffic to this site. I will try to come out with more interesting articles for you guys to read.
These are my three New Year’s resolutions. I want to hear what your New Year’s Resolution is.
Bald Vs. Hair
Posted on: January 1, 2010 | By Maigal
Back when I wrote the article entitled, 40 Going On 20 I left out one important element in my observation. All of these 40 year old single men had a full set of hair. To most men, having a full set of hair is the key to maintaining confidence with the ladies. In this society we tend to think of men with hair as being more attractive and younger looking. When do you ever see a bald guy featured as a hot bachelor in Hollywood? No one. The hottest men in Hollywood include guys like George Cloney, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp, who all have a nice full set of hair. Look at Hugh Hufner, there is a reason why he has been maintaining his playboy image over all these years. Besides fame and fortune; he still has all his hair even at the age of 81. Imagine Hugh being bald and fat? I bet he would be sitting at his playboy mansion with his wife and kids right now.
To those 40 year olds who think they still got it, just give them 3 more years when their eye bags begin to get puffy and even working out won’t get rid of their beer bellies. I bet they’ll be settling down with a girl they wouldn’t have thought about settling with at a younger age. My theory is that you get whatever you can get when you are old and nasty.
