Happy Snow Day in New York City

I love the snow but not on a Friday. Friday is the day where Maigal spread her wings into the night to capture her prey. Since I’m stuck at home today, I think I’m going to bum around and watch some Chinese dramas.

Palm Pre Video Recording Upgrade Today!

I love my new Palm Pre but the only drawback I have with this phone is NO video recording. WTF… how am I going to capture all my scandalous moments without video recording? The day has come. According to gizmodo.com, Sprint’s Palm Pre and Pixi webOS 1.4 will update today with video recording feature and flash 10 today, February 26, 2010.

Fixes:

* Time Zone bug fixed
* Network time sync bug fixed to reflect accurate Network time
* Bluetooth car-kit transition to device corrected
* No EV icon bug fixed (random)
* Random browser formatting bugs fixed
* Fixed bug that incorrectly displayed Sprint when actually was Digital Roaming
* Missing Contact issue specifically with swap down to 1.2.9.1 or less

Brand Name Whores

Being in Asia for 5 weeks, I noticed people in Asia are brand name whores. The brands you wear represent your status in society. It’s a very superficial world in Asia. When I was in Hong Kong, the only handbag brand that I saw women carrying are Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. If you ever go to Causeway Bay, Central and Lang Gwai Fong in Hong Kong Island, you would see that 70% of the women are carrying their $2k – $4k USD handbags. When I went to visit Kowloon one weekend to go shopping, I was amazed that there were long lines of people lining outside the stores just go to into Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. I thought there was a sale in the beginning, but no these damn Chinese tourists were just too rich that all they wanted to do was to spend spend spend. I was hoping to find a sugar daddy in that Chanel line but those damn Hong Kong hoochies surrounded the cute ones already. I didn’t want to sell myself short to go for the old nasty business men.

She’s Been Living In Her Uptown World

Uptown girl was one of my favorite song from Billy Joel which influenced me to live like a snotty uptown chick when I moved all the way to the Upper West Side 6 years ago. I see a lot of uptown women wearing their Chanel purse and Gucci sun glasses as they walk their tiny pooch on 5th avenue near Central Park. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the Chanel purse or the Gucci sun glasses but I did purchase a dog. His name is Bling Bling. I have no idea why I named him Bling Bling. Maybe because I was watching those hip-hop music videos. My little baby is now all grown up. Look at the pictures below.

Best Eye Make-up Remover

I have tried all brands of eye make-up removers such as from Oil Olay, Pond, Estee Lauder, Lancome to Shiseido. They all work but require a little scrubbing. When it comes to your eyes, you do not want to stretch the skins around your eyes by scrubbing. You do not want to create winkles unless you are planning to do botox. I recently started using Clinique Make-up remover which works wonders. My eye make-up slides right off the cotton pad without scrubbing. It removed all my make-up out from my eyes, lips to my face. I highly recommend this product.
