I’m still alive. Did you miss me? I woke up this morning feeling the need to write something about the Met’s Gala 2015 with the theme “China: Through the looking glass”. Since this is a Chinese theme, if you know me, I’m all about Asian pride. of course I will have something to say about it. I saw some impressive dresses that fit the theme really well and some really plain, boring dresses that I think these people should just stay home instead. Overall, there were a lot of plain dresses where I think these people or designers did not do any research on Chinese art and culture therefore, their dress came out looking like crap.
Here are my top four dresses that win the theme:
Rihanna looks like a goddess here. I love the yellow on her skin. It’s dramatic, it’s elegant and fits the theme like a glove.

I discovered that you don’t need to spend a lot to get the perfect eye make-up remover. Baby oil works the same as any other eye make-up remover, if not better. Just put a little bit of the oil on a cotton ball and swipe the cotton ball across your eyes without rubbing. Everything comes right off. It’s gentle on your skin and economical. For a bottle of Johnson’s baby oil, it only cost about $3 and it will last you for more than a year. A bottle Clinque eye-makeup remover cost $18. I rather spend less and use the money on my Christmas shopping.
BTW, you can also use baby oil for something else too… like massages.

Halloween is one of my favorite holiday. It’s a day where I can get creative and be whoever I want. It’s a day where I see women who dress like a whore and I wouldn’t judge them for looking like a skank. It’s a day where I accept my guy friends to cross-dress and not say they are gay even though I know some will come out of the closet one day. Lastly, it’s a day where I tell people what to wear by throwing my own Halloween party.
This year I want everyone to wear a mask. That means I’m having a masquerade party. Yay!!! The reason behind this concept is I want to get to know people by their inner beauty, not physical appearance. Looks can become secondary for a change, unless your body is really HOT. LOL
Here are couple of Masquerade looks that I like for Halloween.

Here is an easy hair do for those who wants to do something different or for those who doesn’t like hair touching their face, like me. It’s easy and takes only 3 mins to do. If I can do it, so can you.
